Trifectiv plus air is a unique formula used as a nebulising solution with disinfectant and soothing properties for airway application. Trifectiv Plus Air can be used for a variety of respiratory system conditions as indicated. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid.
Our bodies naturally make HOCI in the white blood cells and use it to fight infection, control inflammation and heal wounds. Our medical grade hypocholorus acid is identical to the body’s own immune molecule. Inhalation delivers this molecule to the area where it is needed – your lungs and airways.

  • Nebulising frequency
    • Prevention of infection: nebulise 5ml once per a day.
    • Active infection: Nebulise 2-3 times (5ml) a day for infection support.
  • Dosage recommendation
    • Dosage adult: 5ml per session
    • Dosage children: 0.5ml per year of age to a maximum of 5ml
  • Recommended nebuliser
    • Use Trifectiv Plus air with a modern nebuliser where the droplet size is less than 5 microns. Pour Trifectiv Plus air into a nebuliser and inhale deeply.
  • Contraindications
    • Do not use cortisone or steroid inhalers at the same time.
    • Start with 50% Trifectiv® Plus Air & 50% cortisone (separately) in week.
    • Halve steroid dose again the following week.
    • Stop with steroids.
    • Bronchodilators can be stopped immediately.
  • Practical guidelines
    • Don’t dilute or mix with anything else. Don’t use it if it expires.
    • Coughing, sneezing, or throat dryness may occur during/after nebulising and is normal.
    • Phlegm production may increase after 2-3 days as dead biofilm is expelled.
    • If conditions don’t improve within 24-48 hours patients should visit a doctor.
